This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The AVID tutorial process is part of the AVID framework. Collaboration is key. During the tutorials, students are grouped to work collaboratively with a tutor. Each student will present a problem they find difficult, while the rest of their team watches and asks probing questions to guide the student presenter.
Providing the necessary materials I am requesting to execute tutorials, will make this process more engaging.
The whiteboards will ensure that the students presenting have enough space to write down the problem and make any annotations for better understanding. Whiteboard markers are used throughout the entire year.
