Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an AVID school, we prepare our scholars to be organized. In third grade, we use calendars to model for our students organization skills for both home and school.

This project will fund calendars for our team to post in the classroom.

We will use these calendars and magnetic covers to post and share upcoming events, celebrations and major assignments. By sharing them in a common space, students can update their personal AVID calendars and always be aware of events coming up.

We have also added laminating sheets and tissues. The laminating sheets we use as a grade level to laminate our AVID awards or any materials we plan on reusing frequently like math templates, writing guides and grammar charts. The tissues, are to keep on hand for those students that need them.
