This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students provide inspiration to me each and every day. Despite the situation they wake up to in the morning, they come to school with their future in mind. They are responsible, goal oriented and have an endless amount of potential.

Regardless of their origin, circumstances, or what society has said, they are determined to live out every one of their dreams.

They are living, breathing, proof of resilience. They are committed to redefining what it means to be a student.

My Project

These materials are to create a cozy feeling room for my students to read in, relax, and diffuse from the stress they deal with during school as well as everyday life. The materials were all chosen by the students so they could make the room their own and how they want it.

We are very grateful to have received books in the past and are looking to expand our library in the future, so we would like to have a room to keep the books and allow students to go in and check out any they may want.

We sincerely hope you consider our list and help us to make our students happy and healthy.
