AVID Interactive Notebooks

Help me give my students college ruled composition notebooks. We are no longer allowed to have metal 3-ring binders in our buildings. We use glue sticks and cardstock to design covers for the ISN!

My Project

My students love interactive notebooks! They customize a front and back cover with their future plans and they become their handbooks for success in and out of the classroom.

In AVID, (Advancement Via Individual Determination) students learn to be college, career, or employment ready.

The ISN is a reference book to reach that goal, containing the 5 phases of note-taking, 10 steps for tutorials, a planner, calendar, vocabulary and more in one notebook clearly labeled and well organized by a table of contents.

Glue sticks, and Astrobright paper are a perfect complement to this project. Thank you so much for helping me build an equitable classroom for ALL of my students this year!
