My students need both fiction and nonfiction leveled classroom library books to quench their exciting, insatiable appetite for reading.

My Students
My emerging first and second grade readers are craving books that they can read and enjoy. I want students to be able to not only read for enjoyment, but also to be able to use the nonfiction readers I am requesting to quench their thirst for knowledge about the world around them.
My delightful first and second graders are bright, enthusiastic students who inspire me daily.
Many of these students qualify for free and reduced lunches. While they represent all ability levels, each student sets a personal goal each trimester to improve him or herself in an academic area.
My Project
The ability to read is paramount to learning. The leveled fiction and nonfiction books I am requesting will inspire my students to read for enjoyment and to read for knowledge. Having a variety of books at various reading levels will encourage my students to choose books that interest them and keep them motivated to read.
I wish every donor could experience the exhilaration a child feels when he or she begins to successfully read a book independently.
The classroom library books I am requesting will help my students discover the joy of reading and learning about the world around them.
