My Project
I have several non-verbal students who utilizes pictures and drawing to communicate with teachers and staff. We are requesting an iPad and Apple pencil, which would help students to communicate with technology. The Apple pencil drawing will be on the mini iPad. Also, we can use the iPad to Facetime parents/guardians. iPads can be beneficial for autistic students because they offer a variety of tools that can support learning, communication, and engagement. These tools include apps designed for communication, educational games, and visual aids, all of which can help autistic students connect with content and information in a way that resonates with their individual needs.
