My Project

Thank you for considering my request for an iPad mini for my special education classroom. This compact and versatile device will be invaluable for my non-verbal students, thanks to its portability and compatibility with the TD Snap communication app.

The iPad mini's small size ensures it's always on hand, facilitating spontaneous communication and participation in classroom activities (small and large groups, circle times, life skills) With TD Snap, students can access customizable grids, symbols, and text-to-speech features, empowering them to express themselves confidently and engage in discussions.

My goals for this project include creating a more inclusive environment where every student can thrive. By providing access to communication tools like the iPad mini, I aim to bridge communication gaps, promote social interaction, and empower students to communicate independently.

What makes my students special is their resilience and determination. Despite communication challenges, they demonstrate a thirst for knowledge. By leveraging technology and personalized support, we can unlock their potential and foster success.
