Autism Resources: Visual Schedules and Picture Exchange Communication through Technology
Help me give my students with Autism the resources they need to communicate and understand their daily schedule.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Yoshida's classroom raised $978

My Project
Visual Schedules will help my Autistic students with their daily routines and to understand and get ready for the next activity in the day.
IPads will be used by 2 of my non-verbal students for communication.
My autistic students will have tantrums due to frustration with a specific request I cannot understand. For example: my non-verbal autistic student had a toothache and was hitting his face with his hand. We couldn't figure out why he was hitting his face all of a sudden. His mom took him to the dentist for their yearly check up and we found out he had a cavity. When he returned back to school the student no longer hit his face and was happy.
More than half of students from low‑income households
