This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students with autism in grades Kindergarten through 1st grade. My students benefit from hands-on learning activities to help them understand real world environments. Help me promote health and wellness in my autism classroom. Students need hands on learning games that will teach them about fruits and vegetables. Students will learn different food groups which will intern promote healthy lifelong health and wellness habits.

Since my students have autism they learn best by touching, feeling , and manipulating objects; in order to best understand how things work.

In addition, my students to sometimes benefit from sensory input and the treehouse activity center would be ideal for them to help calm down.
