Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These resources will help me give my students an inclusive environment. The furniture and decor will support their individualized needs and create a bright and inviting room. The arts and crafts tools and utensils will support some of their sensory needs. My students are special because they are each unique in their own ways. As a 2nd year autism teacher, I am constantly looking to add things to my room to support my students and each student's unique needs. I want my room to feel inviting, supportive, and inclusive. I want to be able to provide them with items I have not yet been able to purchase, including the snacks I am requesting.
