This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My autistic students love sensory supplies. They go through a lot of them to regulate their emotions and use them to be calm and collected. One of the main things they use daily are chewies. These chewies will be used by almost all of my students. They love the ones that are a necklace.

These pop tubes will be used as a tactile sensory item where they pop them open and push them shut helping them to calm down.

I have a few students that need items that spinners and foil balloons that crinkly and make noise. They like them half filled up with a balloon inflator. They also need small items like dolls and squeezy things to keep their hands occupied.
