My Students
My students receive tele-therapy services as a part of their remote learning. As an occupational therapist, I try to make our sessions fun and creative, using things I have around the house, find online, or make myself. My students are curious and like to explore their surroundings, so it's been a challenge for me to keep their attention during our sessions, but I've been doing my best!
My students require lots of pictures and visual cues in order to engage in tasks during our video sessions.
My Project
These materials would help my students attend to and participate in our tele-therapy sessions. My students need a variety of interesting visuals to help them complete tasks such as sorting colors and shapes, copying letters and numbers, or forming and writing sentences.
The dry-erase board, along with the flashcards and various magnetic accessories, will provide the necessary tools for our at-home sessions.
My students require varying levels of support, so many of the activities will need to be graded up or down to adjust to their learning capabilities. These resources will definitely keep them interested in learning, even at home!
