Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Throughout the year, my students complete different units of writing. These units include narrative (nonfiction and fiction), information, opinion, and fantasy writing. After every unit, students participate in a publishing party where they celebrate their final writing they have been working on for months at a time.
These supplies will provide excitement to our publishing celebrations, provide opportunities to build confidence, and motivate students even more.
The report covers are a way for students to organize and save all of their writing from the year. They will compile each book they write and keep them in their report covers, to then showcase all of their writing at the end of the year.
The microphone is for students to use when we share our writing out loud with the whole class. Many students' quiet voices are hard to hear, so with the mic and speaker, students' voices will be heard.
