Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items chosen are an author's chair where students can sit and read to their peers and individual rugs for them to sit, read, or listen to their friends read. They will be placed in the library center.

These items will make the library more comfortable to sit in while enjoying some of our favorite stories.

Our library exposes our students to endless resources, broadens their perspectives, and allows them to strengthen their social skills. The chair and rugs will prepare them for a school setting while teaching them to value reading, learning, and so much more.
