My students are an artistic and creative bunch. To keep the creative juices flowing, we need adequate supplies to design, build and imagine.
They live in a city in northern Vermont and come from diverse backgrounds.
We have different family structures and ethnicities represented in our classroom. Students also come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, but that doesn't stop their love of learning. The students are happy to come to school each day and love to learn. Please help me help them continue to love learning through creative outlets.
My Project
My students are very eager to learn and have been working on becoming better writers. They have become very interested in choosing writing pieces to publish.
Students want to be able to create books and posters from their writing.
I want to grant them their wishes, but we need the supplies like notebooks, paper, paint, and other art supplies to be able to do that. They need writer's notebooks to capture all their stories and ideas in.
Once they have completed rough drafts of story ideas, they need a variety of art supplies to publish their work. Some students prefer to draw their illustrations and others prefer paint. I want to provide my students with a wide variety of art supplies to best meet their vision. The book and poster making supplies will allow students to illustrate their work and express their creativity.
