My Students

An author study is an excellent way to investigate and celebrate the work of a writer. One of the best ways to "meet an author" is through his or her books. Help us become emerged in two award winning authors and their amazing text and illustrations.

We are first grade students in a public school in Pennsylvania.

We are very curious about literature and are getting ready to embark on a lifelong journey for the love of literature! We love writing and illustrating our own creative stories and comics.

My Project

With the plethora of books requested, my students will be emerged in the award winning authors text and surrounded by illustrations that will spark a new adventure through literature for budding authors and illustrators. They will be able to complete in depth author studies and examine, compare, and explore their own abilities and talents. These books will help create the literacy rich environment to help my students thrive.

Being in a low income school there are many resources that are scarcely available to us.

With your help, you can provide my students with quality literature that can immerse them in adventures and places they may otherwise never go! These books will help create critical thinkers, fluent readers, improve writing skills, forge a deep attachment to literature, create better readers, make connections and create a love of literature through author studies!
