My students need technology to support, connect and respond to content using creativity, originality, and/or adaptation based on their differentiated learning and instruction.

Our mission is to impact and expand the conversation about what an excellent education contains, requires and accomplishes. The school is aimed to create high-achieving students that reflect and exemplify community awareness. As educators, we are expected to challenge our students intellectually via an experiential learning environment that develops each student’s abilities, confidence, and sense of responsibility for themselves and their community.
In the spirit and dedication of conscientiously developing authentic, rigorous, relevant and engaging tasks that allow my students to help build strong communities both within and outside the classroom, it is essential that students are given the basic necessity of technology to learn, connect, create and empower.
As we prepare these leaders, it is essential that students are immersed in challenging and engaging learning experiences, including active integration of learning connections and meaningful work.
We believe that each child should have access to technology to research, prepare and create authentic representations of their learning, unfortunately it seems some of our students may need some support in this endeavor.
I am asking for ten HP Chromebooks. Receiving these chrome books will propel each and every student regardless of their disability to move closer towards success and empower them as dual language leaders in their own right. My students will be able to effectively communicate their work in varied languages and clearly communicate their thinking and connections between content learned and real-world application. They will use the Chromebooks every day in every subject.
With these technoloigcal resources, my scholars will be able to research, evaluate, analyze and synthesize challenging content at their own pace; share their unique ideas and perspectives by creating authentic published work; engage in financial literacy and structured international conversations with other students in regards to issues they are concerned about; participate in intentional curriculum that promotes inquiry, identity and interdependence, as well as, utilize tailored academic intervention programs that allow them to engage in progress monitoring of their skills in Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies.
