Supporting Our Female Students: Access to Menstrual Pads
My students are strong, determined, and eager to learn, but for many of my female students, an unexpected challenge can disrupt their day—lack of access to menstrual pads.
Too often, students miss valuable class time because they don’t have the necessary supplies when they need them. No student should have to choose between their education and basic hygiene.
The resources I’m requesting—menstrual pads—will provide my students with a sense of security and dignity. By having these essential items readily available in the classroom, students won’t have to feel embarrassed, anxious, or distracted. They can focus on what truly matters: learning.
My goal for this project is to create a supportive environment where my students feel comfortable and empowered. These young girls are intelligent, ambitious, and capable, and something as simple as access to menstrual products should never be a barrier to their education. Your support will help ensure that no student is held back due to a lack of basic necessities.
