Help me give my students some headphones for my students this school year!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Swyers's classroom raised $363
This project is fully funded
My Students
These students are in 7th grade and go to a Title I school. The entire school receives free lunch, and most of the families come from inner-city backgrounds.
Being a Title I school, funding for materials can be very limited, so I want to be able to provide my team with the best resources to help them reach their full potential.
These students work hard and are extremely motivated. I want them to feel successful in how they are performing.
My Project
This project is extremely important for my classroom this year. This year I have switched my role over to becoming an Exceptional Education Teacher and these headphones will be a lifesaver if I am able to get this project funded.
I have created many videos with my iPad and use them for remediation lessons which students watch daily my classroom.
These headphones would allow them to listen to those videos privately, rather than playing the video aloud for everyone to hear. Also a lot of my students receive read aloud as a testing requirement, and the headphones that were provided either don't work or only play in one ear due to old age (so I am desperate for new headphones.)
Thank you for taking the time to read about this project! It would mean the world to me to get this project funded so I don't have to worry about purchasing them on my own.
