My Students

Our Spanish students are are a diverse group of creative, energetic, and lively students who make each day so rewarding. Despite having many students who face a variety of challenges outside the classroom, we are a vibrant, thriving community. School is for many students the place they feel supported and cared for, something my colleagues and I strive for every day. These incredible students are eager to learn and are curious about the world around them. We want to be sure they have all the resources they need to be successful.

My Project

All of our classes here are 1-to-1 with Chromebooks.

Allowing each student to have a pair of headphones would allow our Spanish department to incorporate more learning opportunities for each student. Some lessons may require them to watch a video and take notes or respond in writing. All of our Spanish classes would benefit from having headphones for each of our teachers in our department. The possibilities would be endless if each student had a set of headphones. Right now we only have one class set and we find it difficult to find times to share them. If each class were able to have their own set we would be able to utilize them when we want.
