My Project

This year the class is following the Myclassroomeconomy.org program. My Classroom Economy is a program that enables me to teach children financial responsibility through fun, experiential learning. It's a simple classroom economic system based on the idea that students need to apply for a job that contributes to our classroom community. By completing their job, they earn school "money" so that they can buy homework passes, knick-knacks from the class store, and bid on items at our silent auction. By bringing real-world scenarios into the classroom, students see the impact of their decisions to save, spend, and budget.

My students are working diligently to earn their pay check so they may buy one of these prized items at our auction/class store!
