Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

The children in my class love to be read to. My class could greatly benefit from an area rug and a BIG book stand. Our current reading area is old with an unattractive carpet. It is not very appealing to the children I teach. The school district is very poor and has very little money for the supplies we need -supplies that I know our children would be thrilled to have and would be a blessing to all of us.
