This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In third grade ELA and science, we have units on electricity and magnetism. While these are incredibly exciting subjects, our diverse population of learners need hands-on experiences to truly understand these topics.
With these electricity and magnetism kits, our scientists will be able to safely explore, create, and observe!
Our readings will gain a whole new dimension as students can see and feel attraction and repulsion, magnets of different strengths, complete circuits, and more.
We have a large population of English language learners for whom these will be especially helpful, but all students will benefit from engaging in hands-on learning!
