My students need classroom supplies to enhance their learning. Stools to accommodate small group work, erasers to utilize their whiteboards, and other supplies to motivate and promote learning.

My Students

My students are in third grade, ages 8-9. We have a diverse population both culturally and economically in our area. We are a low income school.

My students have a desire to succeed!

They have positive attitudes and are hard workers.

My students come before school starts for additional help or practice. This helps both the students and the parents to be successful in supporting education goals. They are excited to come to school and learn. Knowledge is power and they can do anything if they just keep practicing. They are motivated and want to learn. I want to keep this positive energetic environment in my classroom. I have an amazing class and with support, guidance, and encouragement they can accomplish anything!

My Project

Stools will help during small group learning. Additional students can fit around my instruction table when using stools in place of chairs. Inviting seating will help create a friendly learning environment and improve student focus.

Having sufficient supplies will support and enhance student learning.

Some supplies that would be helpful are pencil pouches to carry their pencils, crayons, scissors, and other items. Whiteboard holders with marker/pencil holders for assessment and organization. Also small individual erasers to wipe off student whiteboards (currently they use an old sock or rag when they are available).

Drawers to store supplies and books in will help keep students organized and supplies in good condition.
