My Project

Coretta Scott King is an all-girls 6-12 Title I school in NW Atlanta, Georgia. This year, we wish to actively encourage good attendance. Through weekly, monthly, and quarterly incentives, we will integrate persistent attendance incentives into the academic year. As a result, every nine weeks, we will give rewards to students who have excellent attendance. Because of this effort, we anticipate higher school year attendance percentages. At the conclusion of each nine-week period, students that attend school every day and on time names will be placed into a drawing to win larger prizes.

One of the most powerful ways to prepare a child for success in life is through regular school attendance.

Good attendance leads to better performance in school and throughout their lives.
