My Project
My gifted students have a million questions and really want to know the world around them. When teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade social studies, geography is taught in every grade. My students need a comprehensive atlas they can reference at any time.
Creativity, "what if", and imagination are rampant in my classrooms.
I am always looking for new ideas to make their learning interactive and have students use inquiry techniques. The other books I am asking for will assist me in creating higher level interactive lessons for my gifted students and support their social and emotional learning.
And of course, all of these new books need a home and that is why I am asking for a bookcase; to hold these and the other books that are in a box on my counter. I will also use the space to display some of their creative work.
