As our school's media specialist for more than twenty years, I have witnessed how excited our students are to learn about different people and places from around the world. There is a greater need for updated and informative resources like this class set of atlases. One of my students' favorite activities has been learning about our Lunar New Year activities; they want to learn more about the locations of the countries that traditionally celebrate this holiday.
Students will use these atlases to research a country from Asia, create a product about that country, and share their findings with their classmates.
It helps my students to have a physical book in their hands.
