My students need 30 At-Your-Seat Storage Sacks to store their stuff!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Strenk's classroom raised $321

My Students
My class consists of students with very diverse educational needs; I have students who speak English as a second language and students who read anywhere from a kindergarten to a third grade level.
Becoming a successful learner means having the necessary supplies at your fingertips!
Our school houses almost twelve hundred students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We are an underfunded, Title 1 school, in an inner city, where many ethnicities come together to learn and explore while speaking over forty languages! The students in my second grade class are a diverse bunch. They live in a high poverty area and they all receive free breakfast and lunch.
My Project
Clean Up! Clean Up! is the song embedded in our heads when we were young and it was time to organize our toys. Now, my students need an organized desk! My students need: At-Your-Seat-Storage-Sacks to house our leveled reading selections for shared and guided reading. The extra pockets will also be useful to organize our pencils, crayons, markers, scissors and glue.
The items listed in this project will help keep my students organized and their desks clutter-free!
The seat sacks needed for my students' desk will be a life-saver! Second graders still need a little help when it comes to organizing their books and supplies! Each sack will hang over the back of students’ chairs and will hold essential supplies within reach. The storage sacks have two pockets, including a small pocket on top for small supplies like scissors, glue, pencils, and markers. The larger pocket can hold our heavier books for math and reading. Also, the book sack will house selected guided reading materials as well as personal literary selections.
Donations to this project will make a huge difference in my class!
The items listed in this project will help keep myself and my students organized in our daily routines. I always try to provide the necessities such as pencils, crayons, scissors and glue. I want to alleviate the hardship that some parents face. Your support will allow me to help my students stay organized throughout the entire school year. Students will continue to shine by being prepared, organized and ready to learn!
