My Project
My students need low leveled high interest books to increase their love of reading & improve their reading comprehension. My students have shown instances of rebellion and anxiety in their inclusion setting due to their embarrassment of having limited to low reading ability and will exhibit inappropriate behavior when they don’t want other students to know.
These books will support individual students reading at their independent levels.
High interest low leveled books will motivate my struggling readers by providing topics of their interest and increasing students reading fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.
