This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have one kindergartener (it is her very first time in a school!), two first graders, and three second-graders! Because I am teaching a self-contained Early Learning Support classroom, I might add more students throughout the school year. My students love activities that help them learn, such as puzzles, books, coloring activities, and much more. They love to use educational websites and apps, however, we are limited in the technology accessible to us. My students say that their favorite place to read is in a comfy spot!
My Project
My students need a motivating workspace and classroom environment to keep them focused and engaged. They love colors, shapes, and learning the alphabet. With different disabilities, ages, and levels all in one classroom, it is necessary to have various educational tools that will help facilitate their learning!

By having different workstations filled with differentiated activities, the students will have the flexibility to move around the room, while still learning. We are excited to learn and we thank you for helping us along the way!
