Brightly colored murals, beautiful garb, fresh fruits, vegetables at the corner market, and the smell of delicious Indian food coming from the nearby kitchen; this is the environment my students live in.
We have a beautiful neighborhood that embodies the Indian culture.
Unfortunately, my school is in a low-income neighborhood. My students, who are a diverse mix of cultures, attend a school that strives to give them an excellent education. Many of them are first-generation Americans and are excited to begin school.
My Project
This school year is one in which we will NEVER forget! Many of my students who are fully remote are relying on technology for their education. Now more than ever a quality iPad is so important for my students. Many of my families have at home technology that is broken, shared with other children at home or is awaiting for tech support that is barely showing signs of help! Now more than ever a quality ipad is so important for my students. An iPad is the main source of learning for my students. They will be able to access our Google classroom, educational websites, and our live Zoom meetings. This iPad I have in mind is for a particular student and family who would greatly benefit from. Gifting them a reliable piece of technology will improve their chance of success in education!
