My Students

This school year, I would like to give my 18 students the opportunity to learn in an environment that is fun, safe, and educational. PreK builds the foundation for many years of schooling to come.

Many of my students have so much curiosity and want to learn.

I would like to get materials for my classroom that will encourage my students to want to learn through hands-on activities. With these materials, the students will be able to learn academic concepts through fun activities that are inviting and the students don't even realize they are working.

This school year our students spend two days in school and three days at home. I would like to be able to send materials home with my students that we use here in the classroom. This will help to them to be able to keep practicing the skills they learn at school at home as well.

My Project

I am requesting counters for math, dry erase boards, and markers and pencil grips. Three days a week my students are working on skills at home. I want to make sure that they have all the materials they need to be successful. In class we learn new skills such as name writing.

At home I would like for them to have a dry erase board and markers so they can continue to practice letter formation and writing their names.

We are also beginning to learn how to count objects one at a time as well as sorting. I would like for them to be able to have a variety of manipulatives to help practice this skill at home.

At home learning materials will definitely help to make sure my students continue to practice and retain new skills learned from the two days they are in class with me. Thank you for helping my students no only have a successful year in the classroom but at home learning as well!
