My students are 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders in the Gifted and Talented program.
Since I teach at three schools, I teach and impact over 30 students.
My students attend school in very low socio-economic areas. Although they obtain and display higher level thinking skills, many lack the background knowledge and experience of different aspects of Science.
My Project
Obtaining Astronomy materials will allow my students to directly experience and learn about this area of Science that is typically left out of science programs. The resources and materials will help provide in-depth activities and learning to take place.
