This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This Oculus will make our virtual field trips really special. Our kids will be blown away at how vivid the images look and it will give them such a wonderful virtual experience. These materials will allow my students to do virtual field trips to Ancient Greece, Rome, and Egypt. My students will have the opportunity to be a gladiator in the Colosseum. They will get to travel around the Egyptian pyramids. My students will get to see the Acropolis up close and feel like they are actually there. They will get a chance to feel what it’s like to be inside of a tornado and see a volcano erupting up close. And we will also have to see what it’s like to be on a roller coaster in VR. My students learn better with hands-on experiences and visuals. VR Field Trips will make the subjects they are learning come alive for them. It will definitely be an unforgettable experience!
