it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project aids to fund materials to make and use assistive technology. At our preschool, we aim to incorporate different communication modalities all around our building. This often looks like different visuals, communication boards or speech generating devices. I print and laminate many communication boards as an SLP and distribute them to parents and teachers. We need charging ports for our students AAC devices, and picture cards to improve communication with our low-tech users. These students are brilliant... and we often don't know what they know if they are non-speaking. AAC is our bridge for that! Students point and indicate their wants/needs and knowledge of their environment! Help us give them ample access to communication!
