This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to participate in art activities that allow them to expand on their learning principles. They are wildly enthused with the idea of creating their own canvas painting that could someday grace the walls of their houses. We are about to start our paper mache art unit where students will work on creating different shapes on their canvases. They will then need to paint their 3D shape in whatever design they desire. The drying rack will ensure that no canvases are messed up in the drying process, and will keep all students organized.
Each student deserves to have the opportunity to express themselves through art, and I believe this project will allow them to do just that.
