My Project
My school has two classes in our hearing education program. The students have cochlear implants, hearing aids or BAHAs (bone anchored hearing aids).
I want to have resources and books available to my students that feature characters like them!
I think it is important for my students to be represented in the books they read. I also want to provide some young learners with American Sign Language (ASL) resources, including flash cards. It is important for my students to have access to many different ways to communicate, and this project will help them to do just that.
