My Project

Having both of these games in the classroom will give my students the opportunity to play games they are already familiar with by putting their new skills to use. By incorporating Battleship into lessons, I am able to create a dynamic, interactive environment that combines practical language use with strategy and teamwork. Incorporating Guess Who in classroom makes learning interactive, social, and enjoyable, while targeting vocabulary development, comprehension, and expressive fluency.

Both Battleship and Guess Who are beneficial in an ASL classroom because they provide engaging, interactive opportunities to practice ASL vocabulary, spatial awareness, question formation, and conversational skills in a fun, low-pressure, and collaborative environment.

They not only make learning ASL more dynamic but also build confidence, teamwork, and strategic problem-solving. By integrating these games into instruction, I am able to create meaningful, hands-on experiences that support both language acquisition and student enjoyment.
