My Project

Our students with autism will learn how to demonstrate daily living and life skills. When our students learn a skill, they stay on the same routine until it is taught a different way. They are truly focused and excited to learn. These students are special because they want to do chores, clean, cook and use their hands to stay busy.

The living room set, dining room table and chairs, bathroom set, bedroom set, and kitchen supplies will give my students the resources to learn how to be successful in learning how to maintain an apartment.

The students will be able to set the table, straighten pillows, make up the bed, clean the bathroom, cook meals, and wash dishes. They will be able to assist with the household chores and cooking at home. The students and staff will work in this apartment on a daily basis.
