My students need sensory tools to ease their anxiety at schools. My ASD class greatly benefits from sensory seating, animals, and fidget toys. Noise cancellation headphones are so imperative for them to focus in school.

My Students
Every morning we are greeted by a loving group of students who are eager to learn. Our class is populated by kindergartners with autism that are enrolled in the Horizon/NEST ASD program.
Our kindergarten class is populated by a very diverse group of students, all with their very own bright personalities.
However, one thing they all have in common is that they absolutely love coming to school and are always eager to learn. We have a nurturing classroom with the goal of truly fostering a love of learning in the little ones.
Everyone has different learning needs in our classroom, thus all lessons are specifically differentiated to reach all students in the classroom. Our students have definitely embraced the idea that each one of us is unique and special in our own way, yet we are all equal and treated with the same love and respect.
My Project
The sensory tools, puzzles, and headphones are all tools used to soothe children with autism when they are feeling anxious. My students are very sweet and would benefit greatly from the supports being requested. Currently we have no tools for their sensory needs and are desperate to get the equipment needed to provide them are better education.
The extra support from the items requested will help my ASD class to prosper in the classroom setting.
Children with autism can excel in school when given the proper supports. I am asking for your help to provide an optimal learning environment.
