This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from low socioeconomic families. Most are second language learners and only get the chance to speak English at school. 100% of our students qualify for breakfast and lunch. Many students don’t know when their next meal will come. Our students receive free uniforms and free backpacks. Many of our families live in multi-family households. My students need extra supplies so they can have a safe, warm, and welcoming environment when they come to school. Please help support our class!

My Project

Please help my class get arts and craft kits for when we return to the classroom! I am so excited that we are returning to the classroom, but I will need individual supplies, not community supplies. Oriental Trading does a great job of providing individual craft kits for students. I am asking for a variety of crafts: magic scratch art, flower crafts, Mother's Day and Father's Day crafts. Students love doing arts and crafts, and they will have to follow directions as we do them. They will get to take their own craft home and share what they have made with their families!
