This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are in a creative arts program and love to engage in hands on learning! Science can be a difficult subject to get the students interested in. I am asking for these materials in order to make science more visual and fun for them

The arts and crafts we use to create 3D and physical models is where I see the most excitement and engagement from my students!

Students in all grade levels complete modeling projects and every year I spend my own money to get the materials they need. That is becoming more difficult with the increase in cost of living.

With your help, my 9th grade biology students will create physical ecosystem models that show the impacts of climate change. My 11th grade environmental studies students will create models of their own sustainable farm and school.
