My students need art supplies such as glitter, paper, glue, scissors, play sand, paint, and dotters! We love to create, and we need some supplies to do so!
Kindergarten is so much fun! Our students learn in many different ways using all of our senses and multiple intelligences. We use a wide range of techniques to help all the students succeed no matter what their level. Our students attend a Title I school. Most of the students come from families from a low socioeconomic status, with over 70% of our students receiving free lunch. Our school is also one of the most ethnically diverse schools in Brooklyn. Our school is a caring community of successful learners, which can be seen through collaborative student project based learning in and out of the classroom. Kindergarteners in our classes love to work with hands-on materials and have many different opportunities to practice a skill before it is mastered.
My Project
These art supplies will allow us to create many amazing art projects and crafts. In kindergarten art is essential and without these supplies our projects are very limited.
Art is one of the subject areas in which all my children enjoy.
My class loves creating unique art projects. Their creations are exhibited in our classroom. This helps with self-esteem and building their confidence.
We need collage materials such as glitter, paper, glue, scissors, play sand, paint, and dotters so that we can continue creating our art projects which relate to themes that we cover during the year. My students don't have the luxury of being able to buy these materials for their own use. They would be so excited to have them readily available in our classroom.
