Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Due to budget restrictions, our students do not receive art classes taught by a certified art teacher until they reach third grade. The primary grades are expected to create art projects within their classrooms. These required lots of art supplies and time.

If you supply me with the art supplies, I will make time to create amazing works of art!

This grant will provide them with supplies, such as crayons, glue, colored pencils and scissors, to ensure they can continue their own artistic expression. The impact of art in the classroom will help students in all areas of their life. They learn about spatial relationships, self-expression, and an appreciation for the arts. Who knows? Perhaps the next Rembrandt is in this class and just needs the opportunity to express him or herself.

Every student deserves the opportunity the express themselves artistically!
