Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am tasked with the pleasure of teaching enthusiastic, third grade students in all subject areas. These students are curious, intelligent, and creative beyond all measure. They attend a Visual and Performing Arts Magnet school in Los Angeles. Since our school is an Arts Magnet, we try to integrate art in all forms into as many subject areas as possible. The students at this school come from various backgrounds with various life experiences. Funding for some of our materials is difficult to come by. I appreciate you coming to our page and would appreciate any support you could give.
My Project
My students are going to be taking some lessons in the elements of art and basic drawing and need the proper materials in order to learn effectively. I teach at an art magnet and art supplies like this are limited and having the proper tools makes a difference in the students' ability to take the learning seriously. The students in my school will be taking lessons on the elements of art and having these art pads and pencils will allow the students the opportunity to learn how to properly create lines, shapes, and designs that will help them grow as the budding artists they are.
