Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education. The students at CCCES are part of a close-knit community. Even though the majority of the school is listed as Title 1 that shouldn't prevent them from gaining knowledge of the arts and visual expression.
The materials requested will help the students to find their way off of virtual learning and use materials in real life.
Nothing compares to modeling clay in hand to create sculptures with endless possibilities. The knowledge of how to use colors and other elements of art will help them to understand the world we live in.
I am so proud when I hear students express that they love Art classes. If students are happy to come to class, they will learn that much more.
