My Project
With the resources listed, I aim to cultivate their artistic skills while fostering a love for exploration and expression. The cardstock paper, Astrobrights Mega Collection, Roylco Preschool Arts and Crafts Paper Assortment Pack will cater to their diverse interests and abilities and help decorate their personalized sketchbooks. The life-sized skeleton serves as a fundamental tool for understanding human anatomy. Copic markers will be invaluable for teaching color theory and rendering techniques. X-Acto knives will be used for creating intricate paper sculptures to precise mat cutting for framing artwork. Starch will be used as a medium for paper marbling. Sharpie metallic markers and white gel pens will be excellent for adding highlights, embellishments, and helping students create mixed-media artworks. Chalk pastels will be used for a rich, tactile experience in exploring color blending and layering. Wooden manikins will be used for studying human anatomy in three dimensions. Sculpey clay will be an excellent medium for sculptural projects in the classroom. Storage bags will be used for organizing my student's artworks and materials. Pink Pearl erasers are imperative for helping my students edit their works of art. The gloves will be used for our messier projects. Many of my students do not enjoy the sensory aspects of some mediums and this will make more projects accessible to them. The dish soap, hand soap, and sponges will be used for one of the most important steps in art, CLEAN UP! The scratch stick will be used for scratch art pad for my special ed students and the stickers are for positive behaviors. My goal for this project is to create a dynamic learning environment where students feel empowered to unleash their creativity. What makes my students truly special is their willingness embrace the joy of artistic expression. They constantly surprise me with their innovation.
