My Project
In the Atelier, the children are invited to explore and create with high quality materials whenever possible. By using artist quality materials, it allows the children experiences that help them to master the tools and mediums they enjoy using and decide to investigate further.
Clay and charcoal are valuable mediums to explore in-depth with preschool children.
They each provide interesting textures and blending properties. By donating Mexican pottery and Stonex white clay, Cretacolor Chunky Charcoal sets, Derwent extra-large charcoal block sets, various sized paintbrushes, and egg-handled paint brushes to my students, you will assist them in developing an understanding of creating on the deepest levels.
