Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My amazing students are truly artists in the making.
We love using art in our classroom to celebrate our diversity and inclusion.
In order to help my students express their creativity and honor their unique cultures and backgrounds in our classroom, we need different size canvases, river rocks, colored paints, markers and skin tone kids colored pencils to express their artistic ability so they can feel a sense of belonging.
These resources will give my students the opportunity to feel welcome and tell about their culture through art, build empathy for others, and understand the diverse world we live in through thei eyes.
The materials I am requesting for my students will help them create amazing works of art during Latino Heritage Month, AAPINH Heritage Month, Black History Month, and so much more. The amount of creativity is endless, but having the right colors to represent my students will allow them to become artist in the making.
