My Project

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the simulation of the human intelligence processes by machines, and especially computer systems. Specific applications of the AI include expert systems, natural language processing, speech recognition and machine vision.

When given the vocabulary, students will identify the meanings and apply them to the activities to better understand the standards.

When given specific assignments, students will make entries in their Science Reflection Composition Notebook.

When given the Tic-Tac-Toe against an "Intelligent Piece of Paper, students will be introduced to the topic of what a computer program is and how everything computers do simply involves following instructions written by (creative) computer programmers. Students will be able to start a discussion about what intelligence is and whether something that just blindly follows rules can be considered intelligent.

When given instruction on coding, students will code a micro bit to determine if the plant that is assigned to their group needs watering. Students will create a sensor that will let us know when the plants are thirsty.

Upon completion of this coding activity, students will identify the abiotic and biotic factors that are needed to have healthy crops.

When given the opportunity to Quick Draw, students will be able to share that doodles are a unique data set that can help developers train new neural networks that help researchers see patterns in how people around the world draw, and help artists create things that they haven’t begun to think of.
